Carmen Álvarez

Carmen Álvarez  is a lawyer and founder of Art&Iure Law Firm and member of the Barcelona Bar Association nº 27954. Carmen is specialized in Intellectual Property Rights , Audiovisual Law and Technology Law. After graduating in Law from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 1997, concluded the Master in Tax Law in 2000-2001.

In 2003 Carmen specialized in Family and Civil law, assuming numerous procedural matters in the field of Real Estate Law, national and international divorces, among others.

From 2006, Carmen is specialized in Intellectual Property Law and Audiovisual Law, having taken various courses in these subjects as well as in Advertising Law and Unfair Competition. Her continuing education in Entertainment Law, Image Rights and Technology Law has offered her  extensive experience advising and representing authors, artists, producers, entrepreneurs and companies in the protection of their creations and interests, either in the extrajudicial negotiation of contracts as well as in the legal-procedural defense under the Courts of Justice.
